Early Years Learning Framework<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n


Learning everywhere and all the time<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The framework is a key component of the National Quality Framework for early childhood education and care. Belonging, Being and Becoming – The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) describes the principles, practices and outcomes that support and enhance young children’s learning from birth to five years of age, as well as their transition to school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EYLF was developed by the Australian and state and territory governments with inputs from the early childhood sector and early childhood academics. It has incorporated feedback from a consultation process, including two national symposiums, national public consultation forums, focus groups, an online forum and case-study trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The framework offers a vision where ‘all children experience learning that is engaging and builds success for life<\/em>‘. It has been designed so that early childhood services will be able to develop their own strategies to implement its objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In HEI Schools Early Education Centres, our rooms for infant to 3 years old as well as for 3 to 5 years old are governed by this framework.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My Time, Our Place<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

My Time, Our Place: Framework for School Age Care in Australia, also known as My Time, Our Place or MTOP, is Australia’s first national framework for school-age care. MTOP<\/a> was developed by the Council of Australian Governments to help educators to extend and enrich children’s wellbeing and development in before and after school and vacation care settings. It is linked to and embedded in the National Quality Standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In HEI Schools Early Education Centres, our before school and after school services are governed by this framework.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)\u00a0supports all professionals who work with children aged 0-8. It includes a range of discipline-specific guidelines and practice resources. The framework:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • enables you to work more effectively with other professionals and with families<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • provides valuable guidance for supporting children and families in their transitions through the first eight years of a child\u2019s life<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • provides a shared language and guiding principles for achieving\u00a0the best outcomes for every child\u00a0by supporting\u00a0continuity of learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    In HEI Schools Early Education Centres, our programs are designed in accordance to VEYLDF.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
